UNC renews reject call

IMPHAL, Sep 29 : Reiterating its anti-ADC elec- tion, the United Naga Council has urged the Naga Tribe Hohos, District/Regional organisa- tions, Naga frontal organisations and all the Naga people to ensure that the rejected ADC election stands rejected.

India, Myanmar agree on border haats

IMPHAL, Sep 29 : With a view to facilitating border trade between the two countries through Moreh and Namphalong, India and Myanmar have agreed in principle to open three border haats.

VA appeals for compensation

IMPHAL, Sep 29 : The Sharkaphung/Sikibung Village Authority has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister regarding survey and compensation process of land/people affected by the Thoubal Multipurpose Dam.

Bodies condemn firing attack

98 vehicles leave for Moreh

IMPHAL, Sep 29 : Altogether 98 vehicles left Imphal for Moreh with police and Manipur Rifles escorts today.

The vehicles were given security escorts in view of stringent enforcement of the UNC sponsored economic blockade along NH 2 at Thamnapokpi area.
