Margao, Oct 1(PTI) Manipur grabbed 125 medals to emerge as overall champions in the 29th Sub-Juniors boys and girls National 2011 Taekwondo Championships, held at Multipurpose Hall here. Defending Champions Maharashtra finished second with 119 medals. Manipur continued their good work on the last day today and grabbed 62 medals to emerge Champions in the Boys section while girls from that state collected 63 medals to finish second along with Uttarakhand who also grabbed 63 medals. Both boys and girls from Manipur put together bagged 125 medals. In the girls section, Maharashtra emerged champions after collecting 77 medals. Assam Boys were declared as the ”best fighting spirit” team while Bihar”s team was declared the ”best fighting spirit” team in the girls section.
