New Delhi, Oct 10 (MIC): The the Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi organized a condolence meeting at the conference hall of the Bhavan at Sadar Patel Marg at 5 pm on October 8 on the sudden demise of Wungnaoshang Keishing, the sitting members of Manipur Lagislative Assembly elected from Phunyar Assembly Constituency who expired at his babupara residence Imphal.
The condolenece meeting was attended by sitting Lok Sabha Member Dr. Thokchom Meinya, Hill Areas Committee Chairman Thangminlian Kipgen, members of the Manipur Lagislative Assembly Doukhomang Kongsai, W. Morung Makunga, V. Hangkhanlian, Awangbau Newmai, Y Surchandra Singh, Dr. U Deven Singh, Thangkholun Haokip and Kaokholet Kipgen, and other officials posted in New Delhi. After paying floral tributes at a portrait of Keishing, a two minute silence was observed in the meeting as a mark of respect to the departed soul. The meeting shared grief and sorrow of the bereaved familty. Dr. Thokchom Meinya MP and Thangminlen Kipgen, chairman Hill areas Committee in the meeting expressed that the death of Keishing was not only a loss to his family but to the Ukhrul districts and state as a whole.
